Himeji Castle is located in Himeji city. Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, is one of the three ancient castles. and the most beautiful of the country.

Opening hours

  • Open daily from 09:00 – 17:00 (doors close at 16:00)
  • Will postpone the closing time to 6:00 PM (door closes at 5:00 PM) – closed only on December 29 – 30.

Admission

  • Admission fee inside Himeji Castle and other areas within there. For those aged 18 and over 1000 yen, students 300 yen.

Getting to

  • From Sanyo Himeji Station, Himeji’s public transportation hub, tourists can walk to take a bus. which will be in the north of the station. Travel time is about 5 minutes.
